I am sure you are a fan of rich painted cars, as you can see to the car races.

BMW are already art cars when they go out from the factory. Imagine what happens when  BMW cars reach the artistic hands of well known painters like Andy Warhol, Frank Stella,Robert Rauschenberg, Cesar Manrique etc. ! It must result a masterpiece.

And these things happened. I am going to show you bellow a gallery of the best known and notorious BMW  art cars. Among then, an 1979 M1 painted by Andy Warhol. The huge artist was very happy with the piece, much happier than with most of his paintings. You can image the price of that happy car today, much bigger than a new BMW! It is really surprising to think at BMW as a major inspiration source for leading artists, but it is maybe the only one company who could do that.

This is a car for youngsters, in the good old american tradition of cabrios.

It is the world’s longest cabrio with its 4,92 meters, and is also very wide (1,8 meters). Its main concurents are the BMW 3 cabrio, and the Audi A4 cabrio. Comparing to them, it is much cheaper ( only 29900 euro) , but also not so comfy as the concurents.

It is fitted with a 1968 cmc diesel engine with 4 line cylinder, developping 103 kw at 4000 rot/min

Its maximal speed is 195 km/h, and it can reach 100 km/h starting from null within 11,7 seconds!

This car is good to have, and will be very popular among students !

It is 90 % percent based on the new Opel Insignia, and will be unveiled very soon, at the Paris Motorshow. It looks very impressive and seducing, having a noble touch. Only an intelectual wishing to invest in his/her image will buy this exquisite car! Because image and prestige have also their price.

In my opinion, the Peugeot models are among the world’s nicest! They have a very harmonic design. Very hard to express exactly why, but these cars are really nice!

Following this old tradition, Peugeot is developping some new models, which are breathtaking nice, unbelievable beautiful. One of them is the special concept car which will be revealed very soon.

For this unique concept car Peugeot keeps a deep secret, even the name is still unknown. We will try to find out more, keeping you informed as usual. Something is already very well knowned: the engine is a hybrid with 313 HP!

The american car industry is in a deep  long crisis. The 4 $ gallon is a major explanation for that, and the lack of innovation due to the cheap oil is another.

For many years America has developped a strange and strong taste for huge SUV and every american felt another Rambo, even when they used that Rambo car only to pick the children for school. And all these SUVs were equipped with V8 +2500 engines. This unconsciuosness seems unbelievable today.

Two of the three american main car producers (GM, Ford, Chrysler) found some solutions for the crisis:

-GM sales the asian made Aveo. And has also the rare opportunity to use its european division, OPEL (which was a few years ago the company’s black sheep ). Specially, the models Astra and Antara have big growth potential. The Antara ( a little SUV ) is marketed under the name Saturn Vue and is already a hit, having a hybrid engine, a thing that is en vogue  in America these days.

-Ford sales the european models like Focus, Fiesta etc which are tremenduos successes.

This time, Europe is saving America.

Another question: what is going to happen to Chrysler ? Is it going to remain the poor relative in the family? Have you  any ideas or proposals for Chrysler ?

We got good news from Ingolstadt. A new sporty line from Audi will be available starting autumn 2009, and its first representative is the impressive Audi R8 GT 3.

Notice for this Audi R8 its rear wheel drive architecture, which is new for this company. The gearbox is a 6 speeds sequential, supporting 550 HP! Maximum speed is 300 km/h, and the consumption 14,6 l%.

The price of this Audi R8 GT 3 will be an incredible 104 000 Euro, worthing every penny. It is such an attention for every  interior and exterior details of the car. This car should be the launch of Audi as the most important producer of high luxury cars!

What is hotter: bikes or cars? I think that bikes are the perfect choice, and I am able to give some photos supporting my assertions!

In Auckland, New Zealand took place a bike race, but a special hot one! I will show you why bellow, watch carefully!

If someone is becoming a president in the  X country, he/she might need some badges  of his power and position. Also, his/her guests need to be spoiled a little in some luxury cars.

In my opinion, the past of these luxury cars was much more glorious than the present. There is no big deal anymore to be President of the U.S. if you get only an ordinary Cadillac DTS! ( no offence for Obama and McCain).

I think, any millionaire from Russia or Gulf can get a similar car. This ugly job has no status anymore!

But how was in the good old time? Well, I think it was different. Prestigious car manufacturers  were not allowed to sell certain models to not aristocratic families. Ceausescu, for example, tried to order a special Rolls Royce and he was refused.

Mercedes issued a special Pullmann for the President of The Western Germany. This is a luxury car indeed with all necessary ammenities. . The engine was not special strong, and the official driver was jealous on special race editions! But this car had something special, which modern governmental cars don’t have anymore. A kind of magic, simply! It was specially designed taller than usual, in the honour of  Charles de Gaulles.

And the following car of the former chinese NomenKlatura was also on the top!

The good old time were more stylish !

A new Dodge is on the market. Again a good looking trustworthy Dodge, with a HEMI engine ( 390 HP, 5700 ccm! ). It is the new Dodge Ramm 2009, ladies and gentlemen.

To counterbalance these big numbers, the producer decided to sell the car at lower prices: the base model with regular cab will cost only 22170 $, while a model with QuadCab will come on the market with 26225 $. Really strong concurent for Ford and GM !

The car world’s leading market, namely the USA market, has a subtle quick evolution ( maybe even revolution). It is a huge demand for small cars, who must be more economic and more efficient. There is also a huge demand for hybrids and fuel cell cars.

The demand for smaller cars fits very good to the japanese carmakers : the compact success models from the Japan market are perfectly for the evolutions from the US market. With an important mention, making the producers and dealers to be very prudent: a few years ago the introduction of the Honda Odissey in the US market was a big failure. In my opinion, the reason for that failure was again the market, dominated by the Chrysler minivans. Near all those minivans the Odissey seemed too small.

But nowadays the market will react different, I am sure. The market is ripe to receive the Honda Stream for example. Honda Stream is a seven seated wagon, based on the Fit platform, who could become a major competitor for the Mazda 5.

Honda Stream will be a succes, I am sure, making even the leading model of the next years. Tell me if you disagree, after watching this car.
