You know a lot about the Chevrolet Volt, GM’s major project for these years.

It is a big challenge, to put the company out of the dependancy of its gas thirsty SUV and trucks. The Chevy  Volt is entented to reach the markets in 2010, having a 40 miles range of mobility, complying to the most consummers needs.

Up to now GM did not find a reliable supplier of batteries for this project, and this turns to be a major problem! But thanks God, we have good news for Bob Lutz and his team: the korean producer LG announced to be abble producing the necessary batteries, based on the Lithium ion technology. This is a good news for GM, and also for some concurents of GM. LG managers announced to be in talks with other car manufacturers, and this technology could be an excelent developping opportunity for LG.
